With 100% online classes, the Nursing Administration program is designed for working nurses. 8-week courses keep you on track to progress through your program. Fieldwork helps you apply what you have learned into practice. All while gaining skills that help you be an effective leader.

Our Curriculum

First Term – Fall (8 credits)

NURS 514 Transforming Organizations through Healthcare Reform (4 credits – 3 didactic, 1 clinical and 50 clinical hours)
NURS 518 Population Health for Nurse Leaders (4 credits – 3 didactic, 1 clinical and 50 clinical hours)

Second Term – Spring (6 credits)

NURS 501 Theoretical Foundations of Advanced Nursing Practice (3)
NURS 503 Research in Nursing (3)

Third Term – Summer (3 credits)

NURS 505 Health Care Policy, Systems & Financing for Advanced Practice (3)

Fourth Term – Fall (8 credits)

NURS 508 Human Resource Management in the Changing Healthcare Environment (4 credits, 3 didactic, 1 clinical and 50 clinical hours)
NURS 513 Quality Management in a Transformative Healthcare Environment (4 credits – 1 didactic, 1 clinical and 50 clinical hours)

Fifth Term – Spring (6 credits)

NURS 512 Finance for Nurse Leaders in Contemporary Healthcare (4 credits – 1 didactic, 1 clinical and 100 clinical hours)
NURS 595 Advanced Nursing Field Work (2)

Sixth Term – Summer (3 credits)

NURS 595 Advanced Nursing Field Work (2 credits and 100 clinical hours)
NURS 597 Applied Examination (1)

Upon completion of the curriculum you will finish with 34 credits and 450 clinical hours total.
