9/26 - Replace iBoss hardware (Web Filter) on the HSSB uplink 9:00 am -11:00 am

Install new web filter appliance.

9/16 - Replace the Existing Find a Doc Application 10:00 am -12:00 pm

A new version of the Find a Doc Application will be implemented. This new version will have improved functionality.

9/12 - Update Wireless Contollers 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm

Update Clear Pass wireless clustered controllers software to new version. There should be no outage of the wireless network

 

8/18 - Upgrade Rightfax 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

 On Sunday August 18th, Rightfax will be down for an upgrade between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM

6/29 - Help.HSC Upgrade and Outage 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

HSC CIO Tier 2 will upgrade Help.HSC (Cherwell) to version 9.5.3 on 6/29/2019 9:00AM-5:00PM in an effort to keep current with product features and bug fixes, all Cherwell-associated services may be unavailable during this time.

6/10 - New Password Portal Site

On Monday, June 10, HSC IT will update the password and identity management portal to a new product. This new portal can be accessed at the same location as the previous portal: HSCPass.health.unm.edu or hscid.health.unm.edu.

The portal will allow you to reset a forgotten password, update your current password or change identity information about your account.   

Please note: On your first log in, you will be required to set your verification questions, even if they were set in the old portal.

5/24-5/27 - HSC Data Center Outage

There will be a major power upgrade to accommodate new, higher capacity uninterruptible power supply systems in the BRF data center. This work will require a complete power outage for all servers and storage systems in the BRF Data Center. Maintenance Window/Downtime: The work will take place from Friday, May 24 at 4 p.m. through Monday, May 27 at 8 a.m. There will be no impact to email, Cerner or other production clinical applications.

Please be advised that the LoboMart application will be unavailable from Friday, April 5th, 2019 at 7:00 PM until Sunday, April 7th, 2019 at 10:00 AM for a scheduled upgrade.

2/2 - Domestic Hot and Cold Water Outage BRF - 5:00 am - 12:00 pm

This outage is necessary to check the recirculation system for proper flow.

1/30 - Electrical Outage CON/COP Building 6:00 am - 7:00 am

Electrical outage in the Basement level, it will affect room’s B-20, B-22and B-26 the Panel B-6 will be powered down in Nursing and Pharmacy.

12/22 - Steam Outage Novitski, FPC, Domenici Center 3:00 am - 5:00 pm

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, the Ford Utility Plant will begin a steam outage on the Domenici Education Center, Family Practice, and Novitski Hall. The outage will begin on 3:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The systems that will be unavailable are building heat.

1/3 - Electrical Outage Fitz Hall 6:00 am - 7:00 am

The Electrical systems on the 3rd floor, will not be available during this outage. This outage is necessary to install new electrical for equipment. Emergency power will not be effected, and will remain on during the entire outage.

12/15 - Replace OMI firewall and distribution switch 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Replace existing firewall and distribution layer at OMI building to resolve failing FWSM module issues.

11/26 - SmartSheet Interruption of Service 2:30pm - 3:30 pm

On Monday November 26th, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, there will be an interruption of HSC Smartsheet services for approximately one hour.

HSC IT will be conducting work in the Smartsheet environment to prepare for HSC ID authentication at login.  This is only preparation, and does not affect login at this time.

11/27 - Electrical Outage Fitz Hall 6:00 am - 7:00 am

Electrical systems on the second floor will not be available during this outage. This outage is necessary to install new electrical for equipment. Emergency power will not be effected, and will remain on during the entire outage.

11/27 - Elevator Electrical Outage Fitz Hall 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Electrical systems to the women’s restroom on the basement level (next to the elevator) and the elevator will not be available during this outage. This outage is necessary to install new electrical equipment on the building Electrical system. Normal power will not be effected, and will remain on during the entire outage.

11/24 - Domestic Water Outage Novitsky Hall 5:00 am - 11:00 am

The systems that will be unavailable are the domestic Hot and Cold water. This outage is necessary to finish installation of building backflow prevention device on the domestic water system.

11/15 - Electrical Outage Fitz Hall 6:00 am - 7:00 am

Electrical systems on the basement, ground and first floors will not be available during this outage. This outage is necessary to install new electrical for equipment. Emergency power will not be effected, and will remain on during the entire outage.

11/10 - Domestic Water Outage Family Medicine 5:00 am - 11:00 am

The systems that will be unavailable are the domestic Hot and Cold water. This outage is necessary to finish installation of building backflow prevention device on the domestic water system.

11/4 - CorePoint Upgrade 11:00 am -1:00 pm

Corepoint Integration engine software and hardware upgrades.

Impact to Users: The interfaces using the Corepoint integration application will be down for Radiology, Pharmacy, Access/PALS, Dietary, Soarian, IDX, and 3M Coding systems during the upgrade. The patient demographic and clinical information will be delayed up to 90 minutes.

Details: The interfaces for ADT (admit, discharge, transfers) and patient’s orders transactions between Cerner/Corepoint and the following systems will be down. Access to all system applications will remain available, but only the interfaces from Cerner will be affected during the upgrade period.

  • Radiology systems (iSite PACS, PowerScribe, PenRad, Xcelera);
  • CBORD dietary orders;
  • Cerner Soarian financials;
  • 3M chart coding systems;
  • NMHIC HIE clinician's portal;
  • Pharmacy (Pharmogistics, TheraDoc, SunRx, Wellpartner);
  • TeleTracking bed management;
  • Cerner HomeWorks;
  • Cerner admissions to IDX, PSN, Provation, CRTC Mosaiq/Velos eResearch, GI Provation, Lumedx, EDIE.

10/20 - CANCELED - Help.HSC Upgrade 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

In order to keep current with product features and bug fixes, Help.HSC will be upgraded to version 9.4 on 10/20/2018 9:00AM-5:00PM. All services may be unavailable during this time.

9/28 - Electric Load Test Domenici Hall 6:00 am - 7:00 am

This Load Transfer is to exercise the AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH AND GENERATOR UNDER A FULL LOAD CONDITION. This will affect the Emergency Power to the entire building as there will be a short blink as the power transfers from normal power to emergency power.
