3/21 & 3/22 - Move to new Internet Connection -  **POSTPONED

During the weekend the HSC will move to a new internet connection. There will be intermittent 30 minute outages throughout the weekend. Local network resources will remain available. There will be no impact to Cerner.

 

 

3/11 - Emergency change to wireless access points 7:00 am - 9:00 pm

What:  Due to a failed controller, an emergency change to wireless access points is needed in certain HSC buildings, which could lead to potential service interruptions for wireless in those buildings.

 When:  Wednesday, March 11, 2020, 7:00 am-9:00 pm

 Impact to Users:  During this work users may experience some wireless disruption in the following locations:

  • Cancer Center
  • Fitz Hall/BMSB
  • BRF
  • CNCP
  • CRF
  • FPC
  • UPC
  • CDD
  • Parts of Domenici Education bldg.

 Cerner Clinical systems are not affected.

 

1/31 - 2/3 IDX Billing System Upgrade 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

The IDX CB Centricity Vendor will be assisting UNM Medical Group with a major upgrade of IDX Centricity Business Systems on Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. through Feb. 3 at 6 a.m. All IDX Centricity Business System users will enter an upgrade window during this timeframe. All users MUST prepare to initiate downtime procedures prior to the downtime window as defined by your area.

1/30 - Voice Mail System Maintenance 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

To ensure continued security UNM IT is performing maintenance on the voice mail system Thursday, 1/30 beginning at 5:30 pm. During the two hour window the voice mail system will be intermittently unavailable. Critical departments with auto attendants will be temporarily re-routed.

If users experiences any issues with their voice mail services after the maintenance window please contact the IT Support Center at 277-5757.

1/24 - HSCID Upgrade 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

On 1-24-2020 at 7pm till 11pm HSC.ID (Sailpoint) will be upgraded to the most current version.

During this window all IDM services will be unavailable, this includes:

    Password management
    Name changes
    Directory lookup

12/2 - Cisco VPN will be shut down

9/16 - Replace the Existing Find a Doc Application 10:00 am -12:00 pm

A new version of the Find a Doc Application will be implemented. This new version will have improved functionality.

9/26 - Replace iBoss hardware (Web Filter) on the HSSB uplink 9:00 am -11:00 am

Install new web filter appliance.

9/12 - Update Wireless Contollers 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm

Update Clear Pass wireless clustered controllers software to new version. There should be no outage of the wireless network

8/18 - Upgrade Rightfax 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

 On Sunday August 18th, Rightfax will be down for an upgrade between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM

6/29 - Help.HSC Upgrade and Outage 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

HSC CIO Tier 2 will upgrade Help.HSC (Cherwell) to version 9.5.3 on 6/29/2019 9:00AM-5:00PM in an effort to keep current with product features and bug fixes, all Cherwell-associated services may be unavailable during this time.

6/10 - New Password Portal Site

On Monday, June 10, HSC IT will update the password and identity management portal to a new product. This new portal can be accessed at the same location as the previous portal: HSCPass.health.unm.edu or hscid.health.unm.edu.

The portal will allow you to reset a forgotten password, update your current password or change identity information about your account.   

Please note: On your first log in, you will be required to set your verification questions, even if they were set in the old portal.

5/24-5/27 - HSC Data Center Outage

There will be a major power upgrade to accommodate new, higher capacity uninterruptible power supply systems in the BRF data center. This work will require a complete power outage for all servers and storage systems in the BRF Data Center. Maintenance Window/Downtime: The work will take place from Friday, May 24 at 4 p.m. through Monday, May 27 at 8 a.m. There will be no impact to email, Cerner or other production clinical applications.
