Letter to the Community

Dear UNM Health and Health Sciences Community Member,

You are receiving this email because it is important that we reach everyone. University of New Mexico Health & Health Sciences has contracted with Rankin Climate to conduct a climate survey to include hospital and academic faculty, staff, learners and trainees. This survey is being developed to directly reflect the needs and experiences of the Health & Health Sciences community. The UNM Health & Health Sciences Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, under the leadership of study P.I. Dr. Valerie Romero-Leggott has convened a working group of representatives from across the Health & Health Sciences, in partnership with Rankin Climate, LLC, to develop and implement the survey. This survey is being conducted between April 12 and May 19, 2023 as part of an ongoing 16-month project to evaluate our Health & Health Sciences campus climate and create an action plan.  For more information on the overall project and a list of the committee members, please go to https://hsc.unm.edu/climate-survey/

We are emailing you to ask that you complete the voluntary, confidential survey. The survey will take between 10-20 minutes to complete. Those who complete the survey have the opportunity to opt in to raffle for one of 500 merchandise cards in the amount of $25.The earlier you complete the survey, the greater the chance you may have to win the weekly raffle.

While we prefer you take the survey electronically, printed surveys are available at the following locations: HSC Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – HSSB 102, Health Sciences Library & Informatics Center at the front desk, and Sandoval Regional Medical Center, please contact Dr. Singh at gusingh@salud.unm.edu.
