The mission of the Anesthesiology Informatics Service is to assist the department in fulfilling its mission goals related to clinical care, education, quality improvement, and research. For the purposes of this committee, informatics is understood as the practice of using data, information and knowledge to improve human health and the delivery of healthcare services.
