Hi! I grew up in a small town near Wichita, Kansas. I studied Human Biology at the University of Kansas, then earned my medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita. I fell in love with family medicine for the opportunity to connect with people at all stages of life, discuss a wide range of healthcare concerns, and work with diverse healthcare teams to meet a range of patient needs. I am especially passionate about women’s health, LGBTQIA+ care, adolescent medicine, and addiction medicine. I am so excited to be further exploring these interests and more at UNM! I was drawn to the UNM Family Residency Program for their values, support of reproductive health and gender-affirming care, and the diverse experience provided by an academic center with a passion for health equity. Not to mention the exquisite climate, landscape, and culture of Albuquerque; I can’t wait to live and explore here! When I’m not working, you can find me playing a range of sports and games, hanging out with my friends, or reading with my cat.
