Medical School: Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University |
It is a great privilege to join UNM’s Family Medicine Residency Program, which reflects my medical career goals of providing long-term patient-centered care, prioritizing health equity, and supporting medically underserved communities in New Mexico. After graduating from the University of Maryland and completing a Post-Bac Pre-Medical program at the University of Virginia, I moved to Las Cruces to attend The Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine at New Mexico State University. Throughout medical school, which included clinical rotations in Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Gallup, and Farmington, I appreciated New Mexico's diverse population as well as the unique environment of the Southwest. In continuing my education at UNM, I look forward to exploring the full spectrum of services that family medicine physicians can provide including addiction medicine, behavioral health, and rural medicine.
