 I gravitated towards Family Medicine because of the ability to build long-term relationships with patients and understand them as they are far beyond the clinic. We can optimize outcomes for our patients and help them build the healthiest and happiest lives possible. Due to the versatility of our training, the sky is the limit. I chose UNM to continue my career due to its commitment to serving its community and improving health equity, and broad-spectrum training. Interests of mine include but are not limited to addiction medicine, prenatal and postpartum care, public health, and office procedures.
