I completed my PhD in Sociology from the University of New Mexico in 2025. My areas of specialization are Medical Sociology and Social Movements. My research has focused on science communication and decision-making in public health. I bring my background in medical sociology, qualitative methods, and human factors evaluations to the CHEK-D team to facilitate our research efforts to improve healthcare services. I am passionate about pursuing community-engaged research focused on improving health outcomes.
