CHEK-D
I joined CHEK-D in May of 2026. Working in the CHEK-D lab has deepened my understanding of a variety of health services in the medical field. I graduated from the University of Richmond with a BS in psychology. During my time at UR, I worked in a research lab focused on the psychosocial aspects of organ transplantation, specifically how patients cope with the transplant process. My work during undergrad closely parallels what I do now in CHEK-D. I have experience as an EMT in Virginia, and working in the field gave me insight into the strengths and weaknesses of our current healthcare system. I am very excited to work for CHEK-D and firmly believe that the research conducted here supports the healthcare and health outcomes for all New Mexicans.
