Introduction: I was born and raised in Nigeria and went to the Caribbean for medical school.

Interests

• Pathology/Research Interests: I am currently enjoying surgical pathology.  
• What do you like about living in New Mexico: There isn't much traffic on the road, so you can easily live far from the hospital without any worries. Albuquerque is not a flashy city; there are fewer distractions and many independently-owned bookstores (which is inspiring).
• Interests Outside of Pathology: Road trips, reading novels, book shopping, building a library, and journaling.

Why I enjoy the pathology program at UNM

It's a collegial environment, and I especially enjoy working with the PAs in the gross room: Emily, Marlena, and Ruzbeh. They make grossing fun! You would fit in seamlessly! There are also opportunities to develop skills in MedEd, which is fantastic. I love the library; you can get e-books and hard copies and many spaces for studying with books in the background. Also, there's always something to eat in the resident's lounge!!! And we take every opportunity to celebrate together.
