Introduction: Hello! I hope you are having a great day. I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago. I went to medical school at St. George's University, Grenada.

Interests

• Pathology/Research Interests: Hematopathology/Surgical Pathology
• What do you like about living in New Mexico: I believe happiness should be actively pursued and never taken for granted. I frequently take time to reflect on the things that contribute to my peace of mind; easy access to nature, creative outlets, and being surrounded by good-natured people are a few features of my "happy list."  I find these qualities in Albuquerque and by extension, New Mexico. 
• Interests Outside of Pathology: I love producing art and photographing the natural world that we live in. I mainly work with paint and graphite, and when outdoors I take my Nikon lens along. I also love gardening and can't wait to get my hands in soil again. 

Why I enjoy the pathology program at UNM:

The residency interview process was virtual for me, but I could feel the enthusiasm of the residents despite having to interact through a computer screen. Their emphasis on being supportive of each other really struck a chord with me.
