Introduction: I am from Brazil and completed medical school there. I've been living in Albuquerque for two years, and I can say that it is a fantastic city.

• Pathology/Research Interests: Pathology interests:Transfusion Medicine, Hematopathology
• What do you like about living in New Mexico:The sunset! Albuquerque has the most amazing sunset that I've ever seen in my life. Also, I like that almost every place is 20 minutes away from each other. I came from a big city in Brazil and used to drive more than 1 hour to get to my workplace.
• Interests Outside of Pathology: l like baking, especially Brazilian desserts.

Why I enjoy the pathology program at UNM

Why I enjoy the pathology program at UNM: I've lived in Albuquerque for two years, so UNM was always one of my top choices. During the interview day, UNM became my top choice. Everybody was so friendly, and happiness was the priority for everybody. UNM has an outstanding program, but most importantly, they support the residents. I am not one more in the crowd. They care about me and how they can help me to become a great pathologist.
