Favorite Things About UNM: People here are just so friendly and down-to-earth. There are so many people in our program (from leadership to co-residents) that I feel comfortable reaching out to with questions or concerns. We get to take care of amazing patients and families with interesting pathologies and inspiring stories. Our pediatric faculty is full of outstanding educators who promote curiosity and prioritize learning.
Favorite Things About NM: New Mexico is enriched with incredible people and beautiful landscapes. There is such a rich history of unique culture, delicious food, and fun opportunities. You can go on a breath-taking hike, stroll through an outdoor shopping mall, and see a hit musical production all in one regular day off without even leaving the Albuquerque area. That is not even to mention the possibilities to explore outdoor spaces and historic sites throughout the rest of the state. It truly is the Land of Enchantment and is a wonderful place to call home.
