Why UNM is My Choice for Residency: I initially applied to UNM because of what the PARC and CHIP programs offered. Albuquerque also had the patient population that I want to work with during my career as a pediatrician. The reason I ranked it so high, though, was because of the people. I felt like I was able to connect with the current senior residents even though it was over Zoom and for a short period of time. I'm glad I made the decision to apply here and even happier at the privilege to match at this program.
