505-272-6451UNMH is a 421 bed facility, and the only Level I trauma center in the state. This is our flagship hospital and houses our main outpatient clinics, operating rooms, inpatient wards, and faculty and resident offices. Construction is underway on an additional state-of-the-art hospital tower which will expand further UNMH Main’s capacity and resources.
Barbara and Bill Richardson Pavilion (BBRP) at UNMH
New Mexico’s only freestanding children’s hospital, this facility is immediately adjacent to UNMH and houses the pediatric operating rooms, intensive care units and neonatal ICU, and OB inpatient beds. The adult and pediatric emergency rooms and adult ICUs are also located in this building.
Outpatient Surgery and Imaging Services (OSIS)
A high-throughput outpatient surgery center where OHNS faculty operate on a daily basis, this facility hosts many of our outpatient adult Rhinology, Otology, Facial Plastics, and General procedures as well as uncomplicated outpatient Head and Neck Surgery. Residents operating at this facility gain valuable experience in a setting more similar to a private practice surgery center. Located a short distance from UNMH adjacent to the Cancer Center.
Northeast Heights Clinic (NEH)
The NEH clinic has on-site Audiology and Speech Pathology services, and hosts Pediatric OHNS clinics as well as adult Rhinology and General OHNS. Collaborative care occurs frequently with primary care providers, as UNM Family Medicine shares the building and runs simultaneous clinics next door.
Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC)
The new state-of-the-art facility on the rapidly growing west side of Albuquerque, SRMC is the primary site for UNM Otology/Neurotology. This hospital hosts outpatient and inpatient Otology/Neurotology surgeries, Otology/Neurotology clinics, and has a freestanding emergency room as well as ICU facilities.
UNM Cancer Center
This is a state-of-the-art facility for outpatient services focused on Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and endocrine surgery. The Cancer Center is located a short distance from UNMH adjacent to OSIS.
