The University of New Mexico School of Medicine (UNM SOM) considers requests for transfer. The UNM SOM will consider transfer students on a case-by-case basis who satisfy the following criteria:

Applicants that meet the criteria for transfer as outlined above may submit a formal request by emailing the SOM Office of Admissions at somadmissions@salud.unm.edu. Within your formal request, include how you meet all of the minimum requirements for transfer. Deadline to submit your request is February 14, 2025 to start by May 2025. Transfer applications to start in May 2024 is closed.
