Dr. Taylor, a nationally recognized scholar with numerous NIH grants, will share her expertise with attendees and discuss her work to improve health outcomes.
Jacquelyn Taylor, PhD, PNP-BC, RN, FAHA, FAAN is a content expert and nationally recognized cardiovascular genomics scholar. Her professional experiences mentoring individuals and assisting universities and academic departments in developing and implenting strategic plans led her to establish Taylor Professional Coaching, LLC (TPC).
Dr. Taylor is Endowed Professor and founding Executive Director of the Center for Research on People of Color at Columbia University, one of the youngest members of the National Academy of Medicine, and the first Black woman to earn tenure through the ranks at Yale University and Columbia University. She provides expert guidance to medical and allied health institutions on community-engaged research, clinical trials, cardiovascular genomics, and securing training grants. Dr. Taylor currently leads a portfolio of research, education and training grants totaling more than $10 million in funding from federal, foundation and other sources.
Her professional accomplishments and passion for coaching inspired Dr. Taylor to help others achieve their own successes. She enjoys that, through TPC, she can support individuals and institutions as they envision and create strategies to advance careers and enrich work environments.
