Poverty Simulation Workshop

UNM College of Nursing is hosting a Community Action Poverty Simulation. This interactive experience is designed to give participants a glimpse into the structural barriers of poverty. In this simulation, participants assumed the roles of family members in poverty. Volunteers play the role of service providers and other community resources. The simulation activity was followed by a debriefing where attendees shared what they learned.
