Project Management

Chartering, scoping, development and tracking of a project plan and timelines with leadership updates while utilizing the problem solving steps as needed.

Focused Improvement Meetings

Improvements conducted in a team meeting format with facilitation and project management support, following the problem solving steps.

Work Session/Rapid Improvement Event

A facilitated improvement breakthrough in a dedicated rapid timeframe, usually 2 to 5 days, to improve a process with understanding of current state, root cause analysis, improvement countermeasures & metrics, implementation plan & tracking of timelines and metrics after the session-Plan Do, Study, Act.

Documenting the steps of process in a visual format.

5s Work Session

A facilitated, dedicated timeframe focused on organizing a workspace which could range from an entire clinic to a building’s basement to inpatient crash carts. The timeframe various based on the size of the workspace.

Time Study and/or Observations

Observing and tracking time of a processes to learn where there may be opportunities for improvement.

Process Improvement Retreats

Facilitated meeting to select and prioritize improvement work

PDSA and Problem Solving Steps Module: COURSE LEAN 106

Learn the scientific method to experiment and test changes using PDSA and the foundational problem solving steps to improve processes.

2 hour training

Process Mapping Module: COURSE LEAN 107

Learn how to visually document a process in order to communicate how the process works and to improve it.

2 hours training.

Metrics Module: COURSE LEAN 108

Learn metrics types, foundational charts, basic analysis to measure and know if you are improving.

2 hour training

Lean Process Improvement Module: COURSE LEAN 109

Learn the key principles of Lean to improve a process by looking at it from the perspective of a customer, removing waste, improving efficiencies and adding value to process.
