Scheduling Guidelines

Internal departments may reserve the Interprofessional Healthcare Simulation Center (IHSC); individual students may not make reservations. Consult the Guidelines for Scheduling the IHSC Space (PDF) for more information about our established scheduling priorities.

Prior to submitting your request, check availability on The University of New Mexico Virtual Event Management System (EMS). By requesting a reservation, you agree to follow procedures outlined in the IHSC User Responsibility Agreement (PDF).

Please note: The Monitor Room and corresponding equipment have been upgraded with EMS SIMULATIONiQ products. Please contact IHSC Staff at HSC-IHSC@salud.unm.edu with questions regarding this product, or to arrange training.

How to Request Space at the IHSC

1. Reference the Facility Floor Plan (PDF) to select your rooms.
2. Check room availability on the Event Management System (EMS).
3. Fill out an IHSC Reservation Request (Smartsheet), or e-mail HSC-IHSC@salud.unm.edu.

If space in the IHSC is not available, or the simulation center is not the appropriate space for your event, please consider these other options:
