Building Outstanding STEM-H Students (BOSS)

This program engages and inspires underserved youth from all over New Mexico to pursue science, technology, engineering, math and health (STEM-H) careers. Similar to our Dream Makers program, it is hosted at specific schools or community sites around the state.

The BOSS program is hosted at specific schools or community sites only, our partner locations are as follows:

• Building Outstanding STEAM-H Students (BOSS) Teen Science Café
• Vizionz-Sankofa
• Lutheran Family Services
• Kirtland Elementary School
• New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church
  
  

The Experience

As part of the BOSS program, you will be immersed in the following STEM-H activities:

• Dissecting a pig heart specimen
  
  

BOSS Eligibility

• Must be a New Mexico resident, or Navajo Nation resident with a valid SSN or ITIN (for payment purposes only)
• Are a elementary, middle, or high school student
• Have a GPA of at least 2.75
