November 3-8, 2024 Scottsdale, AZ
As professionals, each of us is continually learning, and, as leaders, we find ourselves helping others to learn and grow on a daily basis. This can be a challenge since everyone learns best in ways as individual as they are. How can we create environments in which each learner feels comfortable enough to be open and receptive to new and different ideas? In this course, you will discover frameworks for diagnosing gaps that may impede students, residents, and practicing clinicians in their quest to learn. You will discover how to create plans to bridge those gaps, and, together, we will begin to identify how our own triggers may interfere with our efforts, analyzing our performances as coaches—especially in more challenging coaching situations.
The course opens on Sunday and wraps up on Friday; in those few days, you will begin to build your community of practice. Because the course will be highly interactive, building each lesson on the foundation of those that came before, and because we want each attendee to get the very most out of this material, please plan your schedule to allow you to be present during the entire course. If this won’t be possible at this time, please know that there will be future opportunities for you to take this course and further sharpen your coaching skills.
