Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA®) Simulation

MOCA simulation is an activity accepted by the American Board of Anesthesiology for part IV credit.

Our MOCA simulation programs focus on presenting scenarios designed to help you identify areas and projects for your PPAI programs.

At least 30% of the educational process involves peer-to-peer, guided debriefing. The detailed debriefing includes the action, decisions and processes arising in each scenario, plus handouts and/or brief presentations on key clinical issues.

UNM holds several MOCA trainings a year. Register today.

Annual National Regional Anesthesia and Perioperative Ultrasound Conference

Held on UNM’s campus in Albuquerque, this conference provides hands-on training for novice and experienced anesthesiologists.

Choose from a basic or advanced track to learn the latest techniques in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. You will earn CME hours for your ASA UGRA portfolio certificate.
