What's Your Favorite Thing About UNM Anesthesia?
Our department has a special sense of camaraderie amongst our unique members, we share a collegial team atmosphere full of genuinely caring folks. The culture of lifelong learning is prevalent due to an ever-evolving challenge of variety in caseload. There is a sense of family amongst members in our department, we are there for each other and I can’t imagine myself any place else!
What Do You Like Most About Being an Educator?
Witnessing the “eureka” moment of a student after aiding them in a learning capacity. My dream is in building a legacy of education, we build the foundation for the next generation. I believe it is an honor to teach our future students the privilege of caring for another person under anesthesia as a CAA.
What's Your Favorite Thing About New Mexico?
Upon moving here ten years ago, I was drawn to the spirit of NM as a magical place that allows you to find the real inner you if you are brave enough to discover it. My favorite parts of this place revolve around the breathtaking sunsets, family walks with my husband and son plus our pack of pups in our neighborhood in the mountains as well as access to the outdoors for downhill winter skiing at Sandia (right in our backyard!), Santa Fe or my favorite place TSV (mystical at it’s finest on the ridge!).
