Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our Dermatology Residency Program! I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful program and to help train our diverse group of future leaders and dermatologists.
The UNM Dermatology Residency Program provides extensive clinical and didactic dermatology training and education while serving a unique population. Residents receive comprehensive training in general and complex medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, aesthetics, laser medicine, consultative dermatology, dermatologic/Mohs surgery and dermatopathology.
Our specialty clinics include the Cutaneous Oncology Clinic, Dermatology-Rheumatology Clinic, Gallup Clinic serving primarily Native American patients, Truman Clinic serving primarily LGBTQ patients, and our multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Clinic. Our residents graduate from our program fully prepared to pursue any career in dermatology including private practice, academics, or further training in a fellowship of their choice. Please take some time to explore our website and learn more about our mission and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
