Our mission is to deliver expert compassionate care for the diverse people of New Mexico and leading inclusive education, research, and training in dermatology.
We provide excellent care for patients of all ages with dermatologic issues from Albuquerque and across the state. We aim to be the center of choice for New Mexicans with skin issues.
Our department is actively engaged in dermatology clinical research and healthcare disparities that can affect patients with dermatologic disease.
Our residency program trains the next generation of dermatology providers, with priority on retaining practicing dermatologists locally and in academics. To achieve, this we work collaboratively to promote excellence within UNM Health Sciences.
