The Section for Child Safety and Well-Being provides didactic and clinical rotation education to health professions learners in medicine, nursing, physiatry, and social work. SafeCare NM ECHO is a telehealth program that provides mentorship and support to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders tasked with responding to maltreatment throughout New Mexico.
The Section for Child Safety and Well-Being also provides education to families caring for children with histories of child maltreatment, and to families working with children with problem sexual behaviors. Check out our Parenting and Discipline Tip handout.
