Eligibility/Preferred Qualifications

• Applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program.
• The UNM complex general surgical oncology fellowship program will only accept applications through the ERAS system.

Application Requirements

The Program Coordinator will contact candidates with the status of their applications. If the program needs any other information the program coordinator will contact you.

A Completed Application includes: 

• ERAS application
• Curriculum vitae
• Personal statement
• Photograph – wallet-sized color photo
• Medical school transcript
• USMLE transcript
• ABSITE scores
• Letters of Recommendations (three)

Application/Interviews

UNM fellowship in complex general surgical oncology is participating in the National Residency Match Program and has coordinated our interviews with the other ACGME-accredited complex general surgical oncology fellowship programs.
