Mission

The Office for Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) provides learning experiences and resources to healthcare professionals and educators with the intent to change strategy, competence, and performance that improve patient-care and learning outcomes. CPL shares the commitment of the Office of Education and the School of Medicine to excellence, diversity, and compassion.

Continuous Professional Learning is for improving, not only informing.

Vision

To strive for the highest quality learner and patient-care outcomes through our commitment to supporting lifelong learning and knowledge sharing.

CPL pledges to close the GAPS:
Grow in relationships with other relevant units in the Health Sciences Center.
Align educational and improvement activities to influence learner performance and patient-care outcomes.
Provide learning experiences and expertise to support the Health Sciences Center’s strategic goals.
Study educational innovations to provide high-value opportunities to our learners.
