Submit Your Abstracts Online!

Presenters of accepted posters will upload (1) a JPEG or PDF image of their poster, and (2) an optional 5-minute oral summary of their project to the virtual-conference web portal (instructions provided to authors of accepted proposals). Posters (and optional videos) will be available for viewing on the conference web portal by May 19. Round-table discussion times between presenters and conference attendees will occur at 12:00-1:15 pm on May 21.

Reviewers will select four outstanding proposed presentations to also be included as lightning talks during the morning schedule of the conference.

Call for Posters!

All faculty, residents, fellows, medical and health profession students at HSC are encouraged to submit a proposal that shares their innovations in quality improvement and patient safety. All proposals MUST involve a learner.

  • Identify if you wish to be considered for an Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation or Both
  • Conference style oral presentation by a single presenter 10 minutes max.
  • Poster (including a poster you have already prepared and presented at another venue)
  • Health System Quality Initiative 
  • Quality Improvement Project
  • Patient Safety Project
  • Quality Improvement for Health Equity
  • Background/Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results or Expected Outcome

  • Abstracts are due by 11:59 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021
  • Acceptance notification will be emailed Thursday, April 15, 2021
