Mark your calendars, because BSGP Fall Retreat 2022 is coming!
Friday September 16th, all day!Take some time out of lab to reconnect with your fellow members and supporters of the BSGP!
We have a fun one planned for you this year! Starting off, 9-10 AM meeting outside happy heart cafe, our new first years will compete in a scavenger hunt around north campus. Then, 10-12 PIs who are recruiting rotation students will be giving short lightning talks in DCNW 3740.
At noon, I hope you will all join us for a catered lunch at the upper plaza tables outside of Fitz. Then stick around for a special presentation by Darrion Nguyen of "Lab Shenanigans" fame about his journey into science and into the world of science communication in the age of social media. This keynote presentation will take place 1-2:30 PM in the Dominici Auditorium.
The retreat will come to a finale with the science-lympics, a team game competition on the grass outside the HSC library, playing corn hole, a petri dish race, pick up pippette tips, giant water pong, charades, and more! The winning teams will be awarded special trophies!
