This system increases the efficiency and effectiveness of existing administrative reporting and personnel review processes, saving considerable time and resources while providing an exceptional wealth of faculty data. We anticipate that as divisions, departments and centers become aware of the extent of powerful reporting capabilities, they will devise new and innovative ways to capitalize on the richness of the data.
NOTE: This is a cloud-based software program and may be accessed through normal internet connections (LAN, WIFI, Hotspot); a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection is not required. Although access to Faculty Success is through the UNM HSC authorization system, you must first have an account established on the Faculty Success server. Faculty members and those proxy users providing admin support to their faculty have access to your account. Your immediate leadership and other authorized personnel including the System Administrators can manage your data and pull reports containing your data.
Maybe. Most accounts for faculty are created shortly after the first day of employment or upon request. Accounts for administrative staff are created upon request. If you have questions about access or are having login issues please contact the System Administrator.
After reviewing the Watermark Informational Documents and Training Materials section of this page, just log in and take a self-guided tour. Initially, spend time each week reviewing the individual activity screens to see where activity is tracked and the level of detail available to you on each screen to make each activity record meaningful and relevant to you. The more data entry you do the more familiar you will become.
Basic information will be imported on the screens below at different intervals. These records of activity can be bolstered with additional information entered by you to make each activity record more detailed. The following screens will have data imported from other primary resources.
It is highly recommended that you and/or your proxy user enter data every two weeks. Activities need to be entered on a regular basis to keep your CV current, allow for accurate reporting at any given time, and in preparation for Annual Performance Reviews and Promotion and Tenure processes.
Your information is used to create your standard and custom CVs, fulfil internal reports run by Division Chiefs, Chairs, Senior Associate Deans and other SOM leadership and external reports for accreditation. Reports can be downloaded as a Word, PDF or HTML file. New reporting requirements are being identified and reports will be built to fulfil those needs.
When entering your activities, it is important to complete the date field. A complete date is preferred, at a minimum a year must be entered to save the activity record.
ny type of file less than 1 GB can be attached to an activity record or uploaded into Faculty Success as part of a process such as an Annual Performance Review. Please use PDF files for all Workflow processes, e.g., APRs, Promotion & Tenure, etc."
