Evaluation of Experiences
Experiences will be evaluated by the Nursing Honors Program Coordinator and awarded points based on the level of engagement and contribution. As a general guideline, interprofessional informative events (typically 1–2 hours in duration) will be awarded 0.5 points, while interactive events (typically 3–4 hours) will be awarded 1 point.
Students may earn an additional 0.5 point by submitting a post-event or experience deliverable, such as a written or recorded reflection demonstrating how the experience contributed to their professional growth.
These point values serve as a standardized, but flexible framework rather than a fixed policy. The Nursing Honors Program may adjust point allocations or criteria as needed to reflect the evolving goals and expectations of the program.
