Our Goals

• Provide expert, 24-hour assistance with poisoning emergencies for all New Mexicans
• Lower the healthcare costs by treating less severe poisonings at home
• Train healthcare professionals in the field of clinical toxicology
• Promoting an active research program that increases knowledge in toxicology
• Prevent poisonings through surveillance, education, regulation, and collaboration with state and federal agencies
• Provide accurate, relevant and unbiased medication-related information to callers and healthcare providers
