The University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Population Health offers two undergraduate minors in addition to its undergraduate degree programs. The two minors are:
Minor in Population Health: This minor requires students to complete 18 credit hours of coursework, including courses such as Introduction to Population Health, Health Disparities, Epidemiology, and Health Policy. View Program
Minor in Maternal and Child Health (MCH): This minor requires students to complete 12 credit hours of coursework, including courses such as Introduction to MCH in Public Health, and three seminars covering history, research, policy and responding to the communities. View Program
Both minors are designed to provide students with a foundation in population health and health equity, which can enhance their career opportunities in a variety of fields, including healthcare, public health, social work, and community health.
