Dr. Linda Felton named Interim Chair, Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences
On Monday, June 9, 2008 Dean John A. PIeper announced the appointment of Linda A. Felton, Ph.D. as Interim Chair of the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy. With the departure of Dr. Craig Marcus, Dean Pieper initiated discussions with the faculty of the division and with their input, made this appointment. The appointment is effective immediately and will be in effect until June 30, 2009.

Dr. Felton is Associate Professor of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) and joined the faculty of the College of Pharmacy in July 1997. Dr. Felton has established a nationally-recognized research program in the areas of polymeric film coating technology and trans-dermal dosage forms. She has chaired and been a member of numerous College committees and has been a highly engaged educator for both professional and graduates students. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Felton to this important leadership position in the College of Pharmacy.
