Post graduate pharmacy residency training at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center cultivates future leaders in the pharmaceutical care profession through experiences that further advance the resident's knowledge, confidence, leadership skills and understanding of how a healthcare system functions.
Through close and enduring collaborations between the UNM College of Pharmacy and the UNM Hospitals Department of Pharmacy, pharmacy residency programs at UNM are unique to most others. We provide our residents the opportunity to interact with one of the most diverse patient populations in the nation while practicing within an award winning interdisciplinary healthcare setting. Additionally, UNM Pharmacy residents have direct access to the knowledge and experience of nationally and internationally recognized practitioners, all within state-of-the-art facilities, situated in a geographically beautiful and culturally rich region.
