Pre-Occupational Therapy Club

The Pre-Occupational Therapy Club mission is to develop professional skills and knowledge for students at the University of New Mexico who plan on or are interested in pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy.

Our club provides:

• Professional experiences within the University and the community.
• Assistance to students who are applying to Occupational Therapy school. 
• A professional network with fellow students and peers. 
• Aid to acquire internships/volunteering hours needed to apply to Occupational Therapy School

Volunteer Opportunities!

Volunteer opportunities still are available at a number of locations within the UNM Hospital system, including many clinical areas. A volunteer may work any portion of time, in at least a 2-hr block, Monday-Friday between 7:30AM and 6PM.  Your volunteer schedule will be arranged by you and the staff as needed. If interested, contact the Volunteer Office to find out more about oppportunities and to set up a phone interview as well interview with the department.  The Volunteer Office is asking for at least a 3-month commitment.  UNMH Volunteer Office: 505 272-2356, volunteers@salud.unm.edu
