The Pre-Occupational Therapy Club mission is to develop professional skills and knowledge for students at the University of New Mexico who plan on or are interested in pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy.
February 22, 2023, 5 pm in Johnson Center, room 120. Join us for 2 guest occupational therapists from Lovelace UNM Rehab Hospital. Brenna Freeze and Lauren Friendly. Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital has provided a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient care for over 25 years. The programs include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, rehabilitation nursing and case management services.
March 8th, 2023, 5 pm in Johnson Center room 120. Join us for a meeting with Samuel Wheeler. He is a representative from St. Augustine's Occupational Therapy Programs that are located in San Marcos California, Austin Texas, Dallas Texas, Miami Florida, and St. Augustine, Florida. He will be joining us to provide information about the application process for those programs.

University College Conference Room is room 265/266, University Advisement and Enrichment CenterVolunteer opportunities still are available at a number of locations within the UNM Hospital system, including many clinical areas. A volunteer may work any portion of time, in at least a 2-hr block, Monday-Friday between 7:30AM and 6PM. Your volunteer schedule will be arranged by you and the staff as needed. If interested, contact the Volunteer Office to find out more about oppportunities and to set up a phone interview as well interview with the department.
