Clinicians who serve as educators are required to evaluate the competency of learners and to provide them with feedback that improves their performance. This self-paced, online module provides the background and tools to accomplish both roles. Registrants should expect to spend about 1.5 – 2.0 hours to complete the entire module. The module can be completed in parts over any period of time.

The following categories of registrants, sponsored by the UNM School of Medicine Office of Education, may (if eligible) receive CME credit without incurring a registration fee: UNM students of any level, residents, fellows, postdocs, preceptors, or volunteer faculty. If an alternate of payment than those listed is required, please contact CPL prior to registration.
1) Payment of registration fees is due in the CPL office prior to accessing the module. Upon receipt of payment by CPL, registrants will receive information on accessing the course through the CPL Learning Cloud.
2) Full refunds are available upon written or email cancellation request ONLY IF the requestor has not yet accessed the learning module by entering the provided “access code”. Once a registrant has accessed the learning module (i.e., entered the “access code”) and appears in the roster, no refunds will be provided – regardless of progress or completion..
