eLME modules are web-based interactive lessons with videos and ongoing self-assessment to foster learning. The modules are provided on the CPL Learning Cloud and CME credits are available.
The first three listed eLME modules apply toward CPL’s Achievement in Medical Education (AMEP) for either a Foundational or Advanced Certificate.

This self-paced, online module provides evidence-based approaches to efficiently integrating learners into your clinic, including demonstration of 6 strategies known to enhance medical student learning while minimizing impact on your delivery of care. Clinicians who serve as educators are required to evaluate the competency of learners and to provide them with feedback that improves their performance; this self-paced, online module provides the background and tools to accomplish both roles. This course prepares teachers to conduct a peer teaching observation as part of the POSET program in the School of Medicine. Completion of this approximately 45-minute course is expected before conducting a POSET observation as an observer and is recommended for teachers who are being observed. The workshop and provided resources prepare an observer for the pre-observation meeting with the observed teacher, conducting the observation, and providing feedback during the post-observation meeting.
