Frequently Asked Questions (Faculty)

Per section D125 of the Faculty Handbook, grades are expected to be entered within 48 hours after the final exam or last meeting day for all courses. Reporting grades during the LoboWeb reporting period is the most efficient way to report grades. LoboWeb Grade entry opens at 5PM on the last day of classes for the Part of Term (Full Term, 1st Half, 2nd Half, etc.). Grade entry in LoboWeb remain open for approximately one (1) week (specific closing dates are announced each Term) after the end of the Term.

After LoboWeb grade entry closes, any students missing grades will be assigned a "Not Recorded" grade. These NR grades have a significant impact on our students:

  • Financial Aid awards will be delayed and could be withheld,
  • Programs, both here at UNM and at other institutions, may not accept our applicants,
  • Suspension status (adding or removing) cannot be computed accurately,
  • Students cannot graduate with an NR grade,
  • Students cannot earn Dean's List with an NR grade.

Before the term’s grade entry deadline:

  1. Log in to my.unm.edu using your (Main Campus) NetID and password
  2. Click on the Faculty or Employee Life tab
  3. Click on LoboWeb button
  4. Under “Grade Entry” heading
    1. Original grade entries should be made on the Enter Final Grades page.
    2. If changes are needed, the Change Student Grade page may be used
  5. Follow this How To Document if more information is needed.

After grade entry deadline for the term (and within 3 semesters of the course ending):

Faculty can enter grades for courses using the LoboWeb method for 3 terms after the course end date:

  1. Log in to my.unm.edu using your (Main Campus) NetID and password
  2. Click on the Faculty or Employee Life tab
  3. Click on LoboWeb button
  4. Under “Grade Entry” heading, select the Change Student Grade page may be used
  5. Select the term and course number
  6. Click on the student’s name
  7. Enter the grade
  8. Select Replace NR Grade from the drop down
  9. Click Save/Submit
  10. Follow this How To Document if more information is needed.

After three semesters of the course ending:

After faculty entry in LoboWeb has closed, email the course number, CRN, term, student name, and student grade to somreo@salud.unm.edu. BREP Staff will coordinate grade entry with the HSC Registrar and confirm with the instructor/student once the grade has posted.

Consult this fast-info page for more information on grade entry: LINK (https://unm-student.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3525).

  1. The Committee on Studies Chair logs in to gradforms.unm.edu with (main campus) NetID and password

  4. The report on exam form then routes electronically to the BSGP Director for signature
  5. The form then routes electronically to OGS for final approval.
