You will start with your prerequisites, then begin your nursing courses in the second semester of your sophomore year. Upon completion of the curriculum, you will finish with 122 credits. Well worth the investment, caring for New Mexico and beyond.
As a BSN nursing student, you will follow the common nursing curriculum that is used throughout the state. This curriculum was developed by the New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC ”nem-nek”).
Undergraduate nursing students can participate in Honors electives in which they will engage in the various aspects of research to improve nursing outcomes and patient care.
