The Human Imaging Research Core (HIRC) provides administrative support for research involving clinical scanners at the UNM Hospital (UNMH), including inpatient facilities and the UNMH Outpatient Surgery and Imaging Services (OSIS) center. The Preclinical Imaging Core provides expert faculty and comprehensive imaging support services for UNM and non-UNM investigators. The Core houses a 7T MRI scanner (Bruker BioSpec 70/30USR) and a PET insert for preclinical and molecular in vivo and ex vivo imaging.
