The Office for Community Faculty is a one stop shop for our generous and highly regarded community faculty to connect with learners in all of the UNM School of Medicine's disciplines.
This allows faculty to provide the highest quality community-based education by sharing their knowledge, experiences, skills and abilities with our students in a wide variety of practice environments throughout the state. As teachers and health care professionals, our community faculty play an important role in providing the best health care possible for all New Mexicans.
The UNM School of Medicine Office for Community Faculty will support a community-based faculty program by providing the highest quality of medical and health science education to our learners while ensuring a professional, supportive and creative experience for all.
The UNM School of Medicine Office for Community Faculty will establish and foster a seamless and meaningful experience across disciplines so that faculty and learners work together to improve health care in New Mexico.
The Office for Community Faculty partners with the UNM Office for Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) to provide professional development and learning opportunities for volunteers. Visit the CPL website to learn more about the upcoming continuing medical education (CME) conferences, online trainings, and more!
