If you've just experienced an adverse event, are dealing with emotional distress, or you just need to talk to someone right away, the following resources are here for you. 

• Agora Crisis Center: Sometimes it’s hard to talk about our problems with family and friends. As trained crisis hotline specialists, our volunteers are ready to provide compassionate, non-judgmental help for anyone in need of emotional support. Anyone is welcome to use our service, and you do not need to be “in crisis” to call or chat with us. Hotline: 505-277-3013 or 866-HELP-1-NM.
• UNM Psychiatric Center and Psychiatric Emergency Services: The state's largest community mental health care provider, UNM Psychiatric Center provides a full spectrum of behavioral health care for thousands of New Mexicans each year. In addition to emergency and urgent psychiatric care, our inpatient facility has 48 beds for adults and seniors. Our Rio Rancho location also provides care in opioid addiction and anxiety, as well as a wide spectrum of innovative outpatient services. 24-hour emergency number: 505-272-2920.
• New Mexico Crisis and Access Line: If you or a loved one is experiencing any kind of emotional crisis, mental health or substance use concern, you can find help 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line or Peer to Peer Warmline. 24-hour Hotline: 1-855-NMCRISIS (1-855-662-7474).
• Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico: To provide support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse within Central New Mexico, and to serve as a community resource on issues regarding prevention and awareness of sexual violence. 24-Hour Hotline: 505-266-7711.
• Domestic Violence Resource Center: We are a Trauma Informed Agency whose main focus is to help Victims  of Domestic Violence break the cycle of abuse in their lives. Each department, Advocacy, Case Management & Counseling are all here to provide resources, help, guidance and support to help victims get safe, become independent and heal. Our goal is to help a victim break the cycle of violence and heal in order to have healthy relationships in their future. • 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline: We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Hotline: 988.
• Crisis Text Line: Crisis Text Line is here for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment. Text HOME to 741741 from anywhere in the United States, anytime.
• Physician Support Line: Our mission at Physician Support Line is to offer free and confidential peer support to American physicians and medical students by creating a safe space to discuss immediate life stressors with volunteer psychiatrist colleagues who are uniquely trained in mental wellness and also have similar shared experiences of the profession.
