We anticipate announcing a number of new learning experiences within the coming months. One easy way to keep abreast of opportunities is to subscribe to the CPL list serve. We only send out one or two messages per month, so you don’t need to worry about getting a lot of unwanted email. But, you also won’t need to worry about missing out on learning activities from CPL. It is easy to join the list:

All the following areas will continue to be closely monitored and potentially re-evaluated as needed. UNM Health and Health Science leaders will keep you updated through communications on any changes moving forward.

• Masking (effective April 16, 2023)
  • Masks will be optional in all clinical buildings for clinicians, staff, patients and visitors.
  • Please remember there are still situations in which masks are required, for example when caring for patients with transmission-based precautions.
  • Patients and visitors who show up with respiratory symptoms should be asked to use a face mask.
• Patient COVID-19 Testing (effective April 16, 2023)
  • COVID tests will be required for all behavioral health admissions.
  • All other admission and pre-procedural testing will be up to clinician discretion.
• Employee COVID-19 Testing
  • Since the OSHA requirements have not changed, the current requirements for employee testing and quarantine will remain the same at this time.
