The New Mexico Disability Determination Services (DDS) is currently looking for New Mexico licensed physicians, psychiatrists and psychologists who would like to contract with the DDS to review medical information and assist in making medical determinations on claimants who have applied for Social Security Disability benefits. Respondents must be licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New Mexico.

Plan to join the 7th annual UNM Health Professions Symposium on April 15, 2023! The event is being hosted to give students interested in the health professions an opportunity to explore their passions, discover various pathways into the field of their choice and learn about the realities and challenges of a health professions education and a career in healthcare. With many workshops on various topics to choose from, this is a great opportunity to network with individuals and grow professionally.
The Office for Continuous Professional Learning supports various UNM School of Medicine Departments to ensure that Grand Rounds are accredited for Continuous Medical Education credits. Attend Grand Rounds with any department to receive credits and refresh your knowledge. Also view the CPL Office's list of upcoming training that you may want to participate in.

On Wednesday December 14th the Office of Advancement and Alumni relations hosted a virtual town hall to meet Patricia W. Finn, MD Dean of the UNM School of Medicine. Thank you to those who were able to attend the open house! We had a great event and enjoyed being able to visit with everyone in our virtual meeting space.
