The Center for Metals in Biology and Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is a NIGMS Center of Biomedical Research Excellence funded by a five-year P20 grant (P20GM130422). Current projects funded by the Center focus on the advancement of research on metals interactions in biology and environmental health.
The CMBM is under the leadership of Matt Campen, PhD, the Center Director, Jim Liu, PhD, Associate Director of the Center, Laurie Hudson, PhD, Director for Career Development, Changjian (Jim) Feng, PhD, Director of the Integrated Molecular Analysis Core and is supported by the Biostatistics Core (Director: Yiliang Zhu, PhD).
