I received my PhD in clinical psychology from the University of New Mexico and completed my clinical internship at the Durham VA in 2021. As a clinical scientist, I have expertise in evidence-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies targeting health concerns (e.g., insomnia and chronic pain), and trauma focused therapies (e.g., Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy). Additionally, my research focuses on understanding ways to promote health behavior change. I have a special interest in diet/exercise, chronic illness, and utilization of technology assessment and intervention strategies.
