Biostatistician
Research - CHEK-D
During the Fall of 2018, I joined the CHEK-D team as the master’s-level biostatistician. I conduct data management, apply statistical methods to our Center’s biomedical research data, and am involved with publications as a result of analyzing data for our projects. I enjoy the multidisciplinary nature of our work at CHEK-D, where we help reduce health disparities and help improve the health of patients with kidney disease. In collaboration with the Albuquerque Chapter of the American Statistical Association, I also enjoy leading outreach efforts in Albuquerque and its surrounding areas with the objective of exposing underserved K-12 students to the fields of statistics and nephrology.
